Although it seems like chaos is everywhere, what is actually holding this world together and keeping us from self-destructing is the Spirit of Love – God’s love.
You might be asking yourself if God is so powerful and His love is so great, then why is there so much pain, suffering and violence. God created man with a free will to love, express love and accept love from others and Him.
Love is not something that you can force on a person. Even though sometimes we wish we could make someone love us, it wouldn’t really mean anything because it would not be sincere. Love is a gift to be given and expressed freely by the one who is giving it. With that in mind, when you think about all the negatives in the world, they are the result of us not loving others, not knowing how to love, not knowing how to receive love, or not wanting to show or give love to certain people, nationalities or our environment.
A Queen realizes that she was born with a destiny and purpose to help, support, heal and aid those who would benefit from her gifts and gift of love. A Queen loves people. That mission can only be properly fulfilled when a Queen loves and accepts herself. How can she give something to others that she does not have for herself?
If all of this makes you feel overwhelmed, don’t be. Begin thinking about all of the things in life, both good and bad, that you have experienced. Think about how you really feel whenever you look in the mirror. How would all of those thoughts, feelings and experiences be different if they were filtered through a true love that protects, heals and celebrates your unique greatness? Just know that God is waiting for you to love Him so that He can be an active participant in all that you do! Ask God to love you and to forgive you for anything that you have participated in that was not loving to yourself, God or others. Ask God to be the love of your life! He will! He’s just waiting for you to say, “I do”!
*Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and with all of your soul and with all of your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.* Luke 10:27
