Queens, When it comes to exercise, are you conquering your workouts or are your workouts conquering you?
There’s always room for growth and improvement, but if you end a workout without challenging yourself to your full potential, your workout becomes ineffective at enhancing the fullness of “YOU”.
Exercise boosts energy, improves sleep, increases health and produces a greater sense of mental well-being. So maybe the answer to relieving some of that stress from studying, friends and parental expectations could be as easy as taking a walk or jog around the park. The health benefits of exercise are essential, but as equally as important is approaching your workout with the right mindset. Your workout is the one time that you get to do something physically positive for yourself, so whether you are taking an aerobics class, lifting weights, just going for a walk or practicing for a school sport, go into every workout with the mindset to improve yourself and overcome any negative experiences or thoughts the day may have brought your way and make your workout count!
