Eloquent & Educated
I was born in California, but raised in the ever so beautiful state of New Jersey. As Taylor Swift would say, I am the magical age of 22. I currently attend the best HBCU (historically black college/university) in the nation, Hampton University. I graduated with my Bachelors in Business Administration in May 2014 and I am working on my Masters to graduate in May 2015 (I am speaking that into existence).
In my early years, I was homeschooled by my dear Mommy and had a wonderful childhood traveling all over the world for “field trips” aka family vacations. I grew up dancing and playing sports. I received a full scholarship for volleyball at my Division 1 institution and finished my career winning the Conference Championships after a LOOOOOONG four years at Hampton.
I have had amazing opportunities available to me throughout college because of my academic success. I was on the Dean’s List every semester and graduated Cum Laude (which is really hard for a D1 athlete in an accelerated 5-Year MBA program). I was nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year by my University and was named an Arthur Ashe Jr. Scholar.
One of my passions is working in the field of hospitality and this past year I was blessed to have the opportunity to intern in Montego Bay, Jamaica with Sandals Resorts.
