Aysha Moultrie is a 25 year old, California native who was brought up in a single parent household. During her early years, Aysha was geared towards focusing on church and sports. At four, a solo at church sparked her interest in the stage and she moved quickly into theater and dance.
Aysha realized she was also blessed in athletics and competed in club soccer from ages eight to thirteen. She participated on her high school soccer team becoming First Team All-League in her position as a sweeper. After tarring her ACL, she moved on to competing in track and field. During her junior college career at West Los Angeles she became the SoCal Champion of the Women’s Heptathlon in 2008. She was then recruited to Texas A&M Commerce with a Track & Field Scholarship in 2010. In 2012, Aysha became a Division ll National Qualifier in the Women’s Heptathlon and holds the record for the fastest 200 heptathlon runner in the Lone Star Conference.
In May 2013 Aysha graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sports and Recreation Management with a minor in General Business from Texas A&M Commerce. Upon graduation she took a position as a Recreational Specialist with the City of Carson where she coached youth in track and field and instructed youth programs such as theatre, choir and dance helping to create the City events focused on families and youth. She is currently working as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer.
She desires to be a motivational speaker motivating young female athletes in high school sports to take advantage of all the great opportunities in education available to them.
